It's Time to Get Down and Derby!

 

Hey Scouts!

 

The pinewood derby is among almost every Cub Scout's favorite event! Pack 301 is striving to make it exciting and memorable!

Our 2015 race will be held on Saturday, March 7th at the Cannon River STEM School gymnasium. It's going to be exciting with races, concessions and more!

 

Check-in is from 8:30am-9:30am Saturday morning.  Opening Flag Ceremony will begin at 9:55am.

 

Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third place finishers. Parents and siblings are invited to participate in the family race. Special awards will be voted on such as Best Design, Best Paint Job, etc.

 

To the left are the official rules and specifications regarding size, weight, construction and racing.  We want to ensure a safe and most of all fair race for all participants.  Most importantly, have fun building your cars.  Make this an experience you and your scout will never forget!
